When you use Quick Check or Live Verification, JobAuthCheck may process the job description, recruiter message, names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, job URLs, career-site URLs, requisition IDs, and other information you choose to submit. This information is used to analyze the opportunity and perform public verification checks.
The JobAuthCheck application does not intentionally create a permanent server-side database record of submitted job content. Requests are processed to generate the result. However, the hosting provider and web server may retain ordinary technical logs such as IP address, request time, requested path, status code, and security-related metadata.
Recent-check history may be stored locally in your browser. That local history is under your browser's control and can be removed by clearing site data or browser storage.
To verify evidence, the JobAuthCheck server may request publicly accessible company, career, recruiter, DNS, RDAP, or job-related webpages. These requests are made by the JobAuthCheck server and may be logged by the destination website.
JobAuthCheck does not log into or scrape protected employment platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Dice, or ZipRecruiter. A URL from one of those services may be recorded as a posting reference, but it is not treated as independently verified unless supported by separate public evidence.
JobAuthCheck does not currently use advertising cookies. If analytics or other tracking technology is added later, this policy will be updated.
Reasonable technical safeguards are used, including bounded public-web requests, private-network blocking, URL checks, response-size limits, and rate limiting. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Public verification may involve third-party websites, DNS services, RDAP services, hosting infrastructure, and other internet services. Their own privacy policies apply to information they receive.
